Both Diagnostic and Interventional Neuroradiology are rapidly advancing and growing subspecialties in which changes in patient care are rapidly introduced.
NIISwa has a long history of contributing to research in the fields of Interventional and Diagnostic Neuroradiology. Due to the state-wide nature of the service as well as the meticulous auditing practices employed, extensive opportunities for research are available.
The prospective Associateship applicant is expected to produce at least one publication in their respective area of interest under the supervision of a NIISwa consultant.
We also encourage enquiries by medical students and junior medical officers interested in the field of Diagnostic or Interventional Neuroradiology into research opportunities available.
