Observerships

Observerships are available in NIISwa in both Diagnostic and Interventional Neuroradiology. The observership is intended to be short in duration, for Australian junior doctors and trainees whom may have an interest in neuroradiology subspecialization. We do not consider Observerships as formal training in either Diagnostic or Interventional Neuroradiology, but this arrangement may be suitable for clinicians who wish to observe how Diagnostic or Interventional Neuroradiology is practiced in Australia.

Depending on the duration of the Observership, the applicant may choose to engage in a research project which will be supervised by a NIISwa consultant. A mutually suitable duration can be negotiated between NIISwa and the applicant.

Observerships are unfunded.
